How many times have you stayed up at night worrying saying, 'Where is my child?' Your heart desires that they’d walk right through that front door so you could hold them in you arms once more. A thousand times your heart is broken and no glue in all this world can fix it until you know your child is home and safe. Does this ring a bell in your heart? Well, you’re not alone my friend many parents and families feel this way because Proverbs 17:22 tells us that “a broken spirit dries up the bones.” This worry wears down your spirit, and depletes your energy, but this is not His will for you because worry is a SIN . Instead turn this around to FAITH and start believing what God’s Word says and read these verses in faith OUT LOUD: Acts: 11-13 Acts 16:29-34 Philippians 4, 6, 7, and 8. Job 22:27-28 Isaiah 59:19 Next Declare and Decree these scriptures in God’s Word  over your children or family. Substitute WORRY for PRAISE by thanking G

Millions of people’s lives are in bondage, spiraling out of control and dying from overdoses of opioids along with the huge influx of heroin and other addictive behaviors. While some may go into rehab centers searching to be free of their habits but fail to recover, it only takes One Step Forward to find healing, freedom, and release in the arms of Jesus, who died to set us ALL free. Only Christ can permanently heal, deliver and transform a life that has been broken and bound in sin to a life of freedom and peace. Only God’s way will bring deliverance; man’s way will keep them in bondage; but those that have been bought with the precious blood of Jesus have been set free. Christ proclaimed: “ If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” John 8:36 If ever we have needed to pray for the deliverance and salvation of people in bondage to drugs, pornography, or mental illness, the time to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, it is NOW! If so, please pr

The longer we are alive in this life, there are odds of really bad things that may happen. Many dangers are avoidable, some are completely random, while certain events are impossible to escape. Consider these odds of dying: In A Plane Crash: 1 in 11,000,000 From A Cataclysmic Storm: 1 in 58,869 By Choking on Food: 1 in 2,535 In A Motor Vehicle Crash: 1 in 107 From Cancer: 1 in 7 Through Heart Disease: 1 in 6 But consider this fact… CHANCE OF DEATH: 1 in 1 As ominous as that statistic is, there is another one odds that are actually WORSE than that: Chance OF BEING SEPEARATED FROM GOD FOREVER: 1 in 2 You see, everyone will die - and we all know that- the question you have to ask yourself are you going to beat the “1 in 2” odds that you will spend eternity in a place that is not heaven? As Jesus said in today’s verse, in ourselves it is impossible, but with God it is possible to beat these odds. All you need to do i

The famous comedian Woody Allen once said, “If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans.” Well, that’s one way for sure! But if you think about it, there are two kinds of laughter. The one we mostly know is the laughter of hearing a funny joke (like today’s cartoon) or having a good time with friends. In fact the Bible even says that this type of laughter is good for our body and soul (Proverbs 17:22) But even flipping this cartoon around a bit, there is the laughter AT someone or something for the failure of their ways, and this is what today’s scripture verse is saying to those that are contrary to God. God, to put it bluntly, doesn’t look down well on evil people, ways or attitudes towards Him. Many that are hyper-critical of the “god ” of the Bible are fond of pointing out how cruel, angry and even sadistic God is as shown in many Old Testament accounts as proof that such a “god” cannot be worthy of any kind of respect - let alone worship. However to un

If you look up the word 'faith' in the dictionary it is a noun, (i.e. a thing ) and a brief definition of faith is 'belief and trust in and loyalty to God' and while that is not exerciseable in the physical there is another important practice of faith that can and even must manifest outwardly. There are two hundred thirty references on faith in scripture, and almost all of them refer to them as something held in hope or heart (and that is all fine!) but in today’s scripture as well as many other examples shown in Hebrews 11 show there is another side of faith that we all ought to practice at certain times, and that is taking faith from a noun as something we HAVE, to a VERB of something we DO. Hebrews 11:1 even refers to faith as an element of things NOT seen, but in Jericho the Hebrews saw their objective, literally stepped out and acted on that faith in order to acquire it...and conqueror it they did! Like today’s picture it means acting

Most people do not adhere to any religion - because at heart, they don’t believe what is taught by that belief system is TRUE. For example, when people see elaborate temples full of candles, incense, and endless statues to strange looking idols, practicing animal sacrifices and performing strange dances, or large cathedrals or mosques they think… Why? What’s the point of going to church service every morning and lighting candles, praying five times each day or following a strict tenant of laws and behavior. None of these things seem logical, acceptable or point to “a way to TRUTH ”. That leads us to Christianity, which on the surface is the most seemingly un-true and un-believable faith of all. Here is a teaching that claims that a man raised himself from the dead and promises eternal life if you will “eat his flesh and drink his blood;” - a non-sensical thought to say the least! Then there are all those other seemingly incredulous Bible stories about the wo
